Crypto markets took a hit on Wednesday, with both Bitcoin and Ethereum moving lower as traders reacted to hotter-than-expected U.S. inflation data — and braced for what’s coming next from the Federal Reserve.

Bitcoin fell nearly 4% over the past 24 hours, hovering around $71,600, while Ethereum dropped even harder, sliding about 6% to roughly $2,180.

What’s driving the drop?

The short answer: inflation + uncertainty + macro pressure.
